Forsaken

"As the darkness of night engulfs the city,
as the fear of the dark grips humanity,
the downtrodden,the forsaken children of God,
search for a place they can afford.

Nothing expensive just something nice,
for they're penniless to pay that price.
They've already paid their debt to society,
without much a do they drink with piety.

All They need is a place to lay their eyes to rest,
a shelter of sorts till another sunset,
the city's pride has purged them all,
of dignity and pride most of all.

Could anyone ever think of a way,
to find them a home they've lost today?
or don't you and I ever seem to think,
that we could be them in the very next blink?"

I See You

"I stay up every night so that you read me a bedtime story,
of starry nights and morning glory,
the princes, the knights and kings of yore,
and of tyrants defeated by a simple bloke.

Solitary WIshes

Beyond the city there lies a place,
under the chestnut tree he finds his own space,
where he comes each day to purge his heart,
the only place he knows he'll have a fresh start,
only with the sunset does he confide,
timothy, the stray expects a candy every once in a while,
solitude never felt so great,
to escape his world full of hate...

The Only Wish-

Held together in a loving embrace, she looked into his eyes and asked, "What do you want the most in your entire life? If you had to just pick one thing what would it be?"
Without a thought, caressing her in his arms, he answered," The only thing i want from life would be to see your beautiful face before i die, even if for an instant. What do you want from life?"
She listened to him intently and picked up her .45, aimed at him saying," The only thing i want from life is to make your wishes come true."
The guy got what he wished for and saw his girl fulfill hers.
